There are certain recipes that politely sit on the snack table.
Then there are the ones you accidentally keep walking back to…again and again.
This fruit salsa was definitely the second one.
A friend brought this fruit salsa to one of our lake weekends, and before long I realized I had “sampled” it so many times that I probably could have skipped dinner. Every time I walked through the kitchen, I’d grab just one more cracker.
Then another.
And another.
The fresh fruit is wonderful on its own, but it’s the orange, apricot, and brown sugar dressing that makes the entire bowl come alive. Add a cinnamon graham cracker or cinnamon pita chip, and suddenly the flavors become something completely different. The sweetness, the crunch, the citrus…it’s one of those combinations that shouldn’t surprise you, but somehow does.
The best part? No one can decide whether it’s an appetizer or dessert.
Honestly…it’s both.
Serve it before dinner, after dinner, at brunch, on the boat, by the pool, or for your next girls’ weekend. Just be warned—you may find yourself standing in front of the refrigerator sneaking another bite before everyone else notices.
I certainly did.

Flavor Tip
This salsa is even better after it has chilled for about an hour, allowing the fruit to soak up all of that incredible citrus-apricot flavor.
If you’re serving guests, make a double batch.
Trust me. And, it’s healthy!!!!
