One of my favorites this summer is a Blackberry Margarita. It’s a delicious twist on the classic margarita cocktail – but better! To take a shortcut, try the latest Blackberry puree from the grocery store. (I highly recommend REÁL Blackberry Puree.) The addition of fresh blackberries gives it a sweet and slightly tangy flavor that is both refreshing and satisfying. It’s the perfect drink for a hot summer day or a fun night out with friends. Whether you’re a fan of traditional margaritas or looking to try something new, the Blackberry Margarita is definitely worth a try!
Summer Blackberry Margarita
1 cup silver tequila, more, if desired
¾ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
¾ cup blackberry puree
1 Lime Wedge
2 tablespoons orange liqueur
sugar/salt for the rim of each glass and additional blackberries and lime slices to garnish
Combine all ingredients in an ice-filled pitcher. (Taste and adjust the ingredient quantities as you like)
With a lime wedge, coat the rim of each glass. Dip the rim of the glass in a shallow plate filled with granulated sugar and coarse salt. Add ice to the glass and pour in the margarita. Garnish with blackberries.
