The race kicks off at 8:30 AM at E. Carroll Joyner Park, and SURVIVORville will open at 7:30 AM.

Last year was truly amazing, and we’re thrilled to be building on that energy again this year. We’re not just running—we’re celebrating survivors and raising funds to support survivorship programs in and around North Carolina. Can’t join us in person? No problem! This year, we’re excited to offer a virtual participation option so you can run, walk, or cheer from anywhere.

Luminary Lane

The Celebration of Life 5K is meant to both celebrate cancer survivorship and honor those who are no longer with us.  This year, we plan to light the race path with love, remembrance and hope with luminaries.  Each luminary represents a story—of resilience, cherished memories, and unwavering spirit that cancer cannot take away. As participants cross the finish line, they do so not just for themselves, but for every fighter, survivor, and loved one whose light continues to shine.
