Mexican Fresh Fruit Salad

I love this salad and your family will too!  A refreshing light dessert at the end of the meal or breakfast alternative.

 2 Kiwi fruit, diced

1 Fuji apple, cored, large dice

2 bananas (optional), sliced

1 lb. strawberries, quartered

3 cups fresh pineapple, cut into chunks

3 cups, cantaloupe, cut into chunks

2 cups fresh papaya, but into chunks

Crème Sauce

4 oz. sweetened condensed milk

2 cups sour cream, regular or low fat

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 cup golden raisins

3/4 cup coconut, toasted

1 cup sliced almonds, toasted

Cut up all the fruit and combine in a large bowl.  In a separate bowl blend the sour cream with the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Prepare this in one large bowl to serve family style or individual glass bowls.  Add the fruit to the bowl and spoon the crème sauce over the fruit just before service.  Garnish with the granola, raisins, coconut and almonds.
