Welcome back to Cooking with Grammy, where the recipes are sweet, the memories are even sweeter, and there is always room for one more in the kitchen! This time, Grammy and Caroline are making a delicious Cherry Oreo Cheesecake—and a brand-new face is joining the fun. Everyone, meet Pops!

A Sweet New Adventure in Grammy’s Kitchen

This Cherry Oreo Cheesecake brings together a few irresistible favorites in one decadent dessert. With a rich Oreo crust, a creamy cheesecake filling and a bright burst of cherry flavor, every bite offers the perfect combination of chocolate, creaminess and fruit.

Of course, the real magic of Cooking with Grammy has never been found only in the finished dish. It lives in the laughter, the little mistakes, the stories shared across the counter and the memories being created along the way. Cooking together gives generations a reason to slow down, talk, laugh and enjoy one another—and that is what this series is all about.

Meet Pops!

Grammy and Caroline have a little extra help in the kitchen today. Pops may be the newest member of the Cooking with Grammy family, but we have a feeling he will fit right in—especially when it is time for the official taste test!

Will Pops prove to be a helpful kitchen assistant? Will Caroline sneak an Oreo before it reaches the recipe? And will Grammy manage to keep everyone on task long enough to finish the cheesecake? You will have to watch to find out.

So, gather your Oreos, bring on the cherries and join Grammy, Caroline and Pops for plenty of laughter, a little kitchen mischief and one delicious memory in the making.

Let’s make Cherry Oreo Cheesecake!

Oreo No Bake Cheesecake w/ Cherries

One package of oreo cookies
1/2 c butter, melted
1 c heavy whipping cream
16 oz cream cheese at room temperature
1/4 c powdered sugar
1t vanilla extract
Cherry pie filling

Using a food processor crash 20 to 25 oreos and combine with the melted butter.

Press the mixture firmly into an 8 x 8 baking dish.

In a small bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Optional: add a tablespoon or 2 of powdered sugar.

In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

Gently fold the cream cheese mixture and whipped cream together; add a dash of vanilla. Optional, add 3-5 crushed oreos into the cheese mixture.

Spread the mixture evenly over the oreo crust. Refrigerate 3 to 4 hours or overnight.

When ready to serve, slice as desired, top with the cherry pie filling, and enjoy!
