After the sun-soaked charm of San Juan, Aruba, and the Dominican Republic, Sandy and I were fully in cruise mode — relaxed, recharged, and ready for the second half of our Caribbean escape. Curaçao greeted us with sparkling waters and a bold, colorful landscape that felt like walking through a living postcard. From wandering downtown streets to tasting local flavors at an open-air market, every moment felt fresh and full of life. The highlight?

A visit to the famous Bon Bini Curaçao Liqueur Factory — where we sampled everything… until Sandy’s brain freeze stole the show. Then came our final stop: St. Kitts — a destination I’d long wanted to visit, and it was worth every minute. From a scenic train ride with island views (and a splash of rum) to a last dip in the Caribbean Sea, it was the perfect grand finale. This leg of our journey was about slowing down, soaking it in, and savoring every sunset. The Caribbean gave us everything we hoped for — and a little more.
