Sandy and Caroline embark on a delightful culinary adventure as they prepare a traditional favorite dessert, a mouthwatering dump cake. The kitchen was a hub of excitement as they gathered the ingredients – a can of sweet cherries, a can of crushed pineapple, and a box of yellow cake mix. Mixing the sweet, fruity filling was an art, and they layered it with the cake mix, generously topping it all with pats of butter. With the oven preheated, they eagerly anticipated the tantalizing aroma that would soon fill the air as their dump cake baked to perfection. In the end, Grammy and Caroline’s dump cake was a delicious treat and a beautiful representation of the love and traditions shared between generations in their kitchen.
