April – always a lovely month! It’s always such an exciting time to leave behind those unpredictable March days for the early days of spring. Spring colors are coming out everywhere, and the warmth and brightness of the days ahead give me something to look forward to and enjoy. Spring is always a time for renewal and rejuvenation, not just with nature, but within us. It’s a great time of the year to take stock of your life and see where you might want to make changes.
Let us hear from you about what YOU might look forward to changing and for self-renewal and rejuvenation. Could be you need to recommit to those new year resolutions. Maybe you need more “you” time. Maybe you are ready to tackle some “renewal” and “rejuvenation” at home with DIY projects, or refreshing and rejuvenating your spirit with a well-deserved mini-vacation. Whatever it is, big or small, we would love to hear about your plans, your journey, and how you stay inspired and motivated to “renew and rejuvenate.” Please “like” us on Facebook (Women Survivors Alliance and Unconditionally Her) and follow us on Twitter (@WomenSurvivors, @Unconditionally Hersurvivorsmag) so you can keep up with us – AND let us hear from YOU!
We are also looking for STORIES as part of the Untold project I shared with you earlier this year. Sometimes we aren’t looking for change, but change finds us – and oftentimes leaves us better for it.
Want to learn more about Untold? Take a look at our big announcement from earlier this year and see what all of the fuss is about – and then be part of it! What better way to share your personal story and support others who might be struggling with their own renewal and rejuvenation– when they were perfectly content with their life as it was going, thank you very much. These stories are meant to inspire despite some of the challenges life throws at us.
In this beautiful month of renewal and rejuvenation, in addition to new beginnings and featured Untold stories, we recognize National Minority Health Month as well as World Health Day on April 7th. We also recognize the entire first week of April as National Public Health Week. And for those who celebrate Easter, wish you a wonderful holiday and a special time of meaning and reflection.
Have a beautiful and wonderful April filled with renewal, hope, inspiration, good health, and love.
Be Focused, Be Inspired – It’s a New Day!
