We made it through 2023! We’re in that home stretch where everything is festive, full of warmth with many gathering with loved ones, relaxing in front of a fire, participating i festive and fun outings, focusing on faith and spirituality, or perhaps “all of the above”. Whatever December means to you, thank you for letting us share Unconditionally Her with you this month and this holiday season.
What are some of your favorite memories from this season? This season and the holidays mean different things to each of us. I have so many good memories, though there are certainly some sad times with loved ones no longer with us or other life circumstances and situations that take away some of the joy. I have found that focusing on the happy times and memories does the heart and mind good. One of my many favorite holiday memories are my kitties inhabiting the Christmas tree and finding a new sleeping spot for 3-4 weeks out of the year. As a lifelong cat-lover owned by many cats – they do own us, after all – I have found that all of mine have found their way under the tree to sleep. I do fondly recall the many pictures similar to the above that I have taken over the years of the cats-in-residence finding their new place to relax, not a care in the world and enjoying the moment, simply relishing one of the simple pleasures of the season – a brightly lit and decorated tree. Sometimes the small things become some of our most beloved memories. I hope each of our dear readers takes time to reflect on memories from seasons past, big or small, and find many opportunities to relish the moment like my dear feline friends seem to do so well.
This month Unconditionally Her will come bearing plenty of seasonal cheer. Recipes with festive foods will make your holiday special – breakfast casserole, delightful cocktails, popcorn holiday balls, and much, much more. We have an exceptional article that puts the spotlight on family, faith, and the holiday spirit.
Enjoy the month of December, the holiday season, and Unconditionally Her!
