With our cameragal out of town, Caroline and I weren’t about to let that stop us from cooking together! In celebration of Cinco de Mayo, we decided to whip up a festive favorite—guacamole dip.
Surprisingly, this has been one of Caroline’s favorite snacks since before she turned two! It’s a super simple recipe, which means she can join in on almost every step. She had a blast splitting open the avocados, marveling at the giant seed inside, and scooping out the creamy fruit.
We tossed in plenty of her favorite ingredients—especially cilantro! (And yes, some of it even made it into the dip!)
Grab your favorite four year old give this fun, fresh recipe a try. Happy Cinco de Mayo—and enjoy!
