Who doesn’t love a good Christmas martini? One of my favorite things to do is head to Bonefish Grill with my BFF’s for one of their incredible cocktails and appetizers.   While this year is a bit different with the pandemic, I felt it was time to create my own bar at home and see what I could come up with that could put a spin on one of my favorites – their signature Pomegranate Martini.  I added a tiny twist by layering pomegranate seeds in the bottom of the glass and adding a sugar rim.   This little spirit of Christmas is a delight.  Enjoy.

Ingredients:

1.5 oz Vodka

.75 oz Monin Pomegranate Syrup

.75 oz Fresh Mango Juice

Fresh Pomegranate Seeds

3 Frozen Grapes

Sugar for the rim

Directions:

Place the vodka, pomegranate syrup and mango juice into a shaker tin filled with ice. Cover and shake vigorously. Place the sugar in a saucer and coat the rim of the glass using a little leftover pomegranate syrup.  Line a spoonful of fresh pomegranate seeds in the bottom of the chilled martini glass. Now strain the liquid into martini glass and garnish with 3 skewered grapes.
