There’s something magical about gathering in the kitchen with little hands eager to help. In this edition of Cooking with Grammy, we’re creating more than just a treat—we’re making a memory. This simple, colorful centerpiece is perfect for spring celebrations, Easter brunch, or just a joyful afternoon with your grandkids.

With bright M&M’s to sort and count, fluffy marshmallow Peeps, and those irresistible Cadbury eggs, this project turns into part craft, part dessert, and all heart. Let the kids take the lead—watch their creativity shine as they design something beautiful (and delicious!) that everyone at the table will admire.

Because the sweetest moments aren’t just what we make… it’s who we make them with.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR YOUR CENTERPIECE

3 bags of M&M’s – Spring colors sorted by color
2 bags of Peeps – Use the yellow or white – I chose yellow for these
3 bags of Cadbury Eggs (or you can use Robin Eggs, also.

As you will see on the video, my vase is tall and wide. It would take too many bags of M&M’s to fill it up so I set a smaller vase on top on the M&M’s to fill up some of the space.  This is what I will fill with the Cadbury Eggs.

Using your color of preference, begin layering one layer of color on the bottom.

Secondly, place your smaller vase in the middle. Fill the sides with the next color.

Layer the Peeps next followed by another layer of your choice of colored M&M’s.
Finally, layer the final layer of peeps.

Fill the empty vase in the middle to the top with Cadbury Eggs and enjoy! Keep in mind, you can mix and match with the little ones. Just enjoy the time you spend together.

Happy Easter from Grammy and Caroline.
