A boozy banana pudding born on safari.

It all started innocently enough: I was hosting a safari-themed baby shower, complete with jungle décor, a money hanging off a pineapple, safari-themed napkins, and banana pudding on the menu. But somewhere between the lion cupcakes and the toucan balloons… the rum came out.

Next thing I knew, my banana pudding had taken a wild turn, trading its G-rating for a little grown-up swagger. And thus, The Drunk Monkey was born — a creamy, no-bake dessert that’s part tropical vacation, part mischief, and 100% crowd-pleaser.

It’s got all the classics: silky banana cream, smooth vanilla pudding, fresh bananas, whipped cream, and those nostalgic vanilla wafers — but now with a generous splash of dark rum to make things… swing. One bite and you’ll understand: this monkey doesn’t mess around.

Perfect for parties, girls’ nights, or just when you need a dessert that says, “I’m classy, but I like chaos.”
