Time has certainly moved quickly this 2023 year as we embark on the month of March.  Not only has time passed quickly, but it’s about to literally spring forward as we’re soon to move into Daylight Savings Time (DST). Daylight Saving Time is the yearly practice of setting clocks forward one hour – or “springing forward” as my grandmothers both would say – between the months of March and November as an effort to save natural light.  Spring, summer and early fall days usually become dark later in the evening as opposed to late fall and winter so more daylight hours are “saved” with the time change.

Believe it or not, the spring-time change can impact our health through changes in sleep.   As part of our nine-part A Time to Bloom coaching series, we’ll talk more about sleep and health this month.   For those who might like to learn more about how DST may impact sleep and well-being, check out the National Sleep Foundation’s website for the science of it all – including circadian rhythms – and some tips to navigate the time change successfully.

Unconditionally Her is anything but sleepy and we are ready to march forward with great content this month. Our Sip of the Month is a Southern Honey Martini, and a surprise food feature is coming your way as well.  Contributor Cindy Small will be sharing a personal interest feature on flea market finds and why people like to collect.   And don’t forget, our favorite team at CO-XST are sharing their final stretch of season one podcasts and an AMAZING Table Talk this month.  Follow us on social media for special posts and announcements throughout the month as well.

As time marches on, so do we!  I hope each of our readers enjoy the great content Unconditionally Her is bringing this month, and that you treasure each day and whatever makes it Unconditionally YOURS!

Be Encouraged, Be Empowered, Be Inspired – Be Unconditionally YOU!
