Fall is ON. The. Way.  It seemed like “poof” and summer was gone this year, even with the ongoing pandemic.   I am loving that we are now in OCTOBER! My favorite month of the year.   Why do I love it so much? There are so many reasons, but I believe one of the big ones is the splendid fall colors that emerge that can be so amazing and sometimes even just breathtaking.  These last eight months I have spent more time outdoors than I ever have in my entire life.  I have joined a hiking group and cannot wait to be outside in the crisp air and surrounded by all the beautiful colors and just appreciating the beauty of the great outdoors.  At a time when it seems so hard to see the good things in this world, I see a burst of beautiful “fall-ness” and it lifts my spirits.  I am reminded of the seasons and know that we are all right now in a season that will pass, like all others – figuratively and literally. I intend to enjoy every bit of fall beauty that I can and hope that you do as well.

Speaking of enjoyment, I truly hope you enjoy the magazine this month. It is going to be a great month with Unconditionally Her and all that we have to share! Yesterday was National Homemade Cookie Day (who knew?!?) and October brings us not only beautiful fall leaves and sweater weather, but so much more.  World Smile Day and Do Something Nice Day are a few other October happenings that warm my heart and encourage us all to be a positive force in a seemingly challenging, and at times not-so-positive, world that we live in.  We have plenty of recipes, a great travel feature on Helen, Georgia (you’ll want to visit this tiny town after reading this article!),  a feature story on cathartic writing (we ALL could use an outlet for our thoughts and feelings as we navigate our time on this planet), testaments of faith, UNTOLD stories of inspiration, and so much more.

Thank you for letting Unconditionally Her be a part of YOUR October. May it be wonderful.

Be Encouraged, Be Empowered, Be Inspired – Be Unconditionally YOU!
